Warning: Deleting a job cannot be undone. If you might need the information later, consider changing the status to “Cancelled” instead.
Job Status Management
Quick Status Change
Right-click on a job in the calendar and select “Change Status” to quickly update without opening the full form.
Status Meanings
| Status | When to Use |
|---|---|
| Draft | Planning the job, date not confirmed |
| Scheduled | Date is locked in, work hasn’t started |
| In Progress | Currently working on this job |
| Completed | Work is done - you can now create an invoice |
| Cancelled | Job was cancelled (keeps the record) |
Status Tips
- Jobs with “Draft” status appear in the “Needs Scheduling” panel
- Mark a job as “Completed” when the work is done so you can create an invoice from it
- Use “Cancelled” instead of deleting to keep a record
Duplicating a Job
If you have similar work on multiple days:
- Right-click on the job
- Select Duplicate
- A copy is created as a draft
- Open the copy and adjust the date and details
This saves time when scheduling multi-day jobs.
Tips
- Check instructions before heading to a job - They contain the crew-specific details
- Add notes during or after work - Document anything that might matter later
- Use the maps link - One tap to navigate to the job site
- Mark jobs complete promptly - This keeps your invoicing pipeline moving
