Quick Overview

The Estimate Workflow

Estimates are the sales and bidding phase of your work in Tallie. Here’s how it flows:

  1. Create - Build your estimate using AI assistance or manually add line items
  2. Review - Add terms, deposit requests, optional items, and scope of work
  3. Send - Email the estimate to your client with one click
  4. Client Approves - Client reviews, selects options, and approves online
  5. Create Job - Once approved, create a Job from the estimate to start tracking the work

After the job is completed, you can create an invoice from it and collect payment. The full lifecycle looks like this: Estimate → Approval → Job → Completion → Invoice → Payment.
